GRAND OPENING! Saturday, February 6 – 1-3pm
The Rappahannock African-American Heritage Center
At SCRABBLE SCHOOL
The public is invited.
The new exhibit will highlight the experiences of people who attended Scrabble School. It will also focus on the historical importance of the school from a local and national perspective–as a school for African Americans during segregation and for its architectural significance as a Rosenwald School. Visitors at the school and online will also be able to learn more about the school through an interactive program featuring oral histories in audiovisual format.
Watch for the total transformation of this website!
